Hi, I am Julie Carpenter, FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner). I have been practicing nursing for the last 17 years. Earning a BSN from Post University working in various fields such as Critical Care, surgery, and chronic health management. I then received a Master’s with honors as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I completed rotations in women’s health and dermatology focusing on hormone replacement and skin care as specialty areas, along with Family Medicine which is not part of my current business model.
As a former career, I taught drawing, painting, and printmaking at the college level with my individual work focusing on the human form. My Master’s in printmaking and drawing thesis discussed the natural aspects of the beauty of the female form as they relate to our societal traditions. Therefore, a transition into science, the human body was a natural progression of career choice.
The goal of my new business is to help patients achieve beauty in their lives relating to visual aesthetics, health, longevity, and overall wellness.
In addition, I will offer various products including Dermalogica skin care products, handmade spa soaps, candles, medicinal salves, creams, and lip balms made from pure herbs processed at Hazelnut Aesthetics to improve one’s skin and overall health.
